Eight incredible heats of the Group 1 TAB Melbourne Cup (515m) will be held at Sandown Park on Friday night, as Victorian greyhound racing’s inaugural Metro Festival of Racingmoves into its final leg.

Victorian greyhound racing’s inaugural Metropolitan Festival of Racing moves into its third of five massive nights on Thursday when Sandown Park hosts the Group 3 Shootout (515m) at 7.58pm.

One of the greyhound racing world’s most prestigious feature races – the Group 1 TAB Topgun (525m) – will be run at The Meadows on Saturday night, 7 November at 8.45pm as part of Victoria’s inaugural Metropolitan Festival of Racing.

Greyhound racing’s Group 3 Northern Districts Cup (450m) will be held at Shepparton on Saturday night, with the final offering $35,500 in prize money.
