The sport is saddened by news of the passing of champion greyhound and GRV Hall of Famer, Dyna Double One.
He leaves us not long after his 12th birthday.
He was a 12-time Group 1 finalist and four time winner at the highest level, led by his epic duel with Fernando Bale in the famous 2015 Melbourne Cup – regarded by many as one of the sport’s greatest moments.
He also had an impact off the track being the sire of star sprinter Tiggerlong Tonk, the versatile Dyna Chancer and Launching Pad winner Tauwitchere.
“For so long you were the bridesmaid to Fernando but forever will be the GOAT to me!” said Korie Heinrich on social media, daughter of Andrea Dailly.
He won 31 of his 54 starts and tallied $1.2M in prize money.
