RSN Grey Areas | Meadows Performance of the Evening, Launching Pad Chat

Before the greyhound chat began, Jason and George threw in a bit of NFL and cricket chat after George’s continued multi success.

Sir John Henry accuses Jason of throwing vinegar today after he struggles with the temperature of the studios.

Western Districts Derby Final at Ballarat is run tonight and the field has opened up following the scratching of Zeus Thunderbolt. Learn a bit more about Western Districts Derby contender Short Straw Trev.

Jason and George NEEDED to point out Hotel Whisky One’s run as The Meadows Performance Of The Evening. It’s worth a look at the RACE DATA out of the meeting.

Hotel Whiksy One dominates from box six at The Meadows.

A bit of chat about prize money.

Tomorrow night will see the running of the Gold Bullion with a very strong Victorian representatives and both struggle to move past the raw talent of Vincent Bale.

Jase labelled the Gold Cup as one of the better staying races since the Bold Trease and Topgun Stayers. The Gold Cup also includes one of George’s dogs in Pass Mark.

Big statement from George around Valpolicella.

Launching Pad chat around the article Jase put together this morning.

Some prep for Friday’s show. What are your favourite sounds of the sport? Is it the lure going around, the RSN late scratching jingle. Message us on Facebook or Instagram to be a part of the conversation.

George’s Wednesday set at The Meadows:

Race 9, Paw Sakakibura (1)
“Only had the two starts at Horsham and won in 22.99 which is a hot run. Kennel have a hot opinion of this greyhound.”

George’s Thursday set at Sandown Park:

Race 8, Utrillo Bale (1)
“Hasn’t been unplaced over this distance. More recently I liked his run behind Zipping Kai where he went 9.12 early. I think he begins a bit better when he is close to the fence.”

Race 11, My Hummingbird (2)
“Good win at The Meadows last start. I think she should be able to dictate terms.”
