RSN Grey Areas | Flying Zulu’s run and George’s NFL lock

Today’s edition of Grey Areas was dominated by Victorians humming at home and abroad.

Flying Zulu was breathtaking in the Australian Sprint at Sandown Park becoming the 3rd fastest ever at the track, while Deadly Avenger led the batch of Victorians racing well at Albion Park chasing Queensland’s majors.

George shaved his son’s head a while ago and his hair isn’t coming back at a rapid rate (fair to say Mrs. Farrugia isn’t thrilled) but in other news I threw another 180 at home, not that George or Sir John Henry have any idea what that means. It looks like this.

George’s Saturday set at The Meadows:

Race 6, Hello Pa (2)
“She’s drawn well and I think she’s got a class edge on these.”

Race 9, Cashing Out (8)
“Bombed the start last week and was never in contention but ran on really well. I think he finds his race.”

Race 10, Champagne Cuddle (5)
“I love when greyhounds come back to a graded event after racing against some very good ones. He’s got enough speed to lead and is the classiest in it. He’s my best.”

And the multi leg from left field. He’s struck seven of eight so far – flying.

Philadelphia Eagles on Monday in the NFL
“The Philadelphia Eagles will beat the Washington Commanders on Monday. I think the $1.40 head-to-head is a good way to celebrate the Australia Day holiday.”
