RSN Grey Areas | Fiona Nunn and Van de Maat joins the show

An interview with Fiona Nunn highlighted Wednesday’s edition of Grey Areas.

She’s a part-owner of the recently acquired Pass The Buck who won last Friday’s Warragul Cup. She’s had extensive experience in harness racing, a dabble in thoroughbred racing and has now turned her interest and investment to greyhound racing.

We also spoke to the iconic James Van de Maat. We’ve long known him as one of Australia’s best race callers (in any code) as well as a prominent media figure, but on Saturday night he and his wife Chloe became city winning greyhound trainers.

A discussion about wagering also featured which will carry on to Friday’s show. Got a question you want answered about the punt? Send it through to [email protected] before Friday’s show.

George was on fire with his tips last week, he had four of them and three got the job done. In addition to that, his NFL multi leg got the chocolates as well, again – he’s 6 out of 7…

George’s Thurday set at Sandown Park:

Race 3, Overland Boy (4)
“I like his provincial form, he’s got good speed and I think he finds a nice race.”

Race 6, Dotty’s Gift (5)
“Her last two wins have been fantastic, before that it was awful but she’s really come of age again.”

Race 9, Flying Zulu (1)
“His run behind Pass The Buck was good. He’s drawn well and he should just be winning that Free-For-All.”
