Impressive trial for Frazier

Relieved, was the first word that Jeff Britton said following Sunset Frazier’s trial at The Meadows today in preparation for the Phoenix.

It was announced yesterday that Sunset Frazier will represent Total Container Solutions in the Phoenix on December 21.

Sunset Frazier went 5.02 early and a sensational 17.53 to the back mark (box-to-box).

“It was a real relief for him to go so well after his fall in the Melbourne Cup,” trainer Jeff Britton said.

“I knew he was feeling good before the trial, he had been to the (Dr.) Alastair and apart from a few minor cuts and bruises he was feeling great.”

“I feel good about the dog representing us,” Britton – who is also a part of the Total Container Solutions team, said.

“I still say he can win from any box – the chase in him is impressive.”

Sunset Frazier will likely have another trial at The Meadows between now and the Phoenix.
