Corey steps in to make it about The Meadows

Three shows in and Jase is already away – off to Sydney to watch his Sydney Swans.

Corey Smith steps in with George Farrugia to tackle all the big news heading into the tail end of the week.

The show wouldn’t have a Corey Smith flare if it didn’t talk almost entirely about The Meadows, so the gents spoke to Jason Sharp about his runners on Saturday night and Morton leading into Dream Chasers Festival.

George’s set at The Meadows:

Race 5, Paw Yasmin (7)
“I liked her win at Sandown last start, and I think she has enough early speed to get into a really good position.”

Race 8, Mepunga Shine (8)
“I love Mepunga Shine, who has an unbelievable record from the pink. Six starts for five wins and one second.”

Race 10, Paw Gunner (2)
“I think he is going to be short, but I really like this greyhound, and I think he is going places. His runs at The Meadows have been absolutely outstanding but the scary part is, last start he broke 5.10 to the mark. If he can bring that into his game plus the way he runs homes… it’s scary.”
