Adopt a greyhound this Sunday

Thinking about getting a dog? Why not adopt a greyhound at this Sunday’s greyhound adoption day in Broadmeadows.

About 30 greyhounds are ready to find their forever homes at Sunday’s event, which will run from 11am until 1pm.

There’s no pressure to adopt, either! If you’d simply like to just come and find out more, meet some greyhounds and have some pats, then you’re more than welcome.

Also on offer will be:
• Free coffee
• Free snacks
• Unlimited pats available!

“If people are looking for a gentle, calm and placid low maintenance but highly affectionate dog breed as a pet, then a greyhound is for them,” GAP rehoming manager Sean Stanton said.

“The team at GAP is committed to matching the right greyhound with the right family to ensure a long-lasting life together in the greyhound’s new forever home.”

For those who can’t make Sunday’s adoption day but might still be interested in adopting, GAP has adoption facilities at Seymour and Tullamarine. More details can be found at gap.grv.org.au or give the team a call on (03) 5799 0166 to find out more.

“Every day is an adoption day at GAP”, Stanton said.
