Finds a more than suitable race to return to the winners list and has a suitable wide draw. He maps to get a cart across in the initial stages and from there looks hard to beat.
Next Best – Race 2, BOURKE (5)
Unbeaten in both career starts to date which were at this track and distance. He showed good speed and field sense on both occasions and looks hard to beat again tonight.
Value – Race 5, BLACK SAINT (1)
Ideally drawn here with Hello Siri (2) on her outside who’s a speedy wide runner. She’s a track and distance winner in her only visit to Shepparton. She maps to lead for a long way here at a very good price.
