The Watchdog says ?: TASTE THE GOLD (2) meets a smart line-up today, but he has a handy motor and from the draw, he should be able to hold the early lead. He was gutsy in defeat at Sandown Park last time and a similar performance today can see him finish in the top two.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

Great race for a midweeker and we see the exciting EXALTED (4) return to the track after six weeks off. He comes into this having won three-of-four to date in blistering fashion and he is expected to fire fresh. If he can step on terms, he should be able to enter the turn in a prominent spot and he can carve out serious time. GOOD TO GO (8) has won two-of-three here and he has gone to another level in recent months. The box draw is a slight concern, but there isn’t a whole lot of early speed, so he should be able to muster into a forward position once balanced and he will be very strong in the run home. TASTE THE GOLD (2) has been racing well in strong company of late and he has the speed to hold the lead at the bend and is capable of causing an upset.
