ASTON LAVINIA (1) is expected to lead, while the powerful FABRIOLA XIMENEZ (4) should get a nice run through early, so they have been included for second. LUCY’S VILLA (3) and BUSY TIME (5) round out the serious chances.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

ZIPPY TESLA (2) didn’t have a lot of luck when he ventured to New South Wales for the heats of the Group 1 Paws of Thunder, however prior to that, he did capture the Group 1 Silver Chief final and he looks perfectly placed tonight. ASTON LAVINIA (1) is expected to pounce on the lead and LUCY’S VILLA (3) can move wide through the bend, so that should allow ZIPPY TESLA to drive through into a prominent spot as they head to the back, and he is very strong late. Surprisingly, it is his first go around Sandown Park, but if he can bring his form shown at The Meadows, a sub 29.20sec run could be on the cards.
