The Watchdog says ?: JUNGLE PANTHER (7) should assume control soon after box rise and get the cash. ASTON ZIEBELL (8) is a powerful type and is the obvious choice to fill the quinella spot. Third is a little more open, so we have gone wide in the hope of finding some value.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:
There was always going to be high expectations for the half-brother to KOBLENZ, and JUNGLE PANTHER (7) has started to live up those expectations in his past three. He got the ball rolling with a scorching 25.46sec Geelong win and he then carved out a ridiculous 27.04sec here last Tuesday. The wide draw should suit today and with a clear run he could break the magical 27-second barrier. ASTON ZIEBELL (8) returned to form with a brilliant 27.16sec heat win last Tuesday and he is the obvious danger. He is a very powerful type and should be able to enter the bend in the top three. With a clear run, he will make the favourite work hard throughout.
