A terrific duel between Tea Pot Creek and Boom Out in a Mixed 4/5 450m race is the highlight of racing at Shepparton tonight.

Market Legend, All Inn Jasper and Return Serve will line up in a Mixed 4/5 385m event, while the GRV Vic Bred Grade 5 450m final featuring Jodie’s Boy and Aston Tango should be hotly contested despite the scratchings of Mepunga Grace and multiple Group finalist Amarillo Highway.

The well-performed Sagacious and Sir Harley are the standout chasers at this afternoon’s Cranbourne meeting.

The Watchdog says ? : BELL BURNER (2) has a clear class edge and with BETA DAYS AHEAD (1) expected to push through and hold the top, he should get a nice run through and prove too strong late. WINNIE COASTER (8) is another who looks very well graded and if she can reproduce her smart 25.47sec PB run, she will prove too zippy for her rivals. SIR HARLEY (3) has always shown tremendous potential and he is really starting to put it all together. There is limited early pace in that event, so he should assume control soon after box rise and win with ease.

MARYS PANDA (6) rounds out the serious chances. She will appreciate the vacant draws on her outside and likes to stay wide in her races.
