Group finalists My Father’s Son and Drako Bale, plus the up-and-coming Sandra’s Sticker, are considered the biggest chances to upstage Five Star.
The Grade 4 525m race featuring Javi (3 from 6 Box 2), Call Me Buster, G1 finalist Hill Top Jack (3 from 5 Box 5) and last start The Meadows 525m winner Westar Aileen should be a terrific battle.
Group placegetters Gypsy Bun, Sovereign Wind (2 from 3 Box 2) and Enter The Son (11 from 26 – 4 from 6 Trk/Dst) v Kasemi v Carry On Liam (2 of last 3) is a strong clash along with Soda Saville (5 from 12) v Suntory Rose v King Of Calypso (3 from 6 Box 3).
G3 finalist Highly Explosive (8 from 21) v Earthworm Jim (4 from 7 – 2 from 2 Box 5) v Western Blazer is a contest of promising chasers, while Green Blazer and Gracie Bale are expected to prevail in their respective races.
Nevaeh Bale v Auspicious Queen v G3 finalist Hennessey (9 from 23) and dual G2 placegetter Fortuna Bale (29 from 72) v Quintana Bale v Boom Out (9 from 18 – 2 from 2 Trk/Dst) should be great races at Geelong.
The Watchdog is predicting Cashton Bale (2 from 3) and Code Cracker (3 from 4) to boost their respective strike rates as well.
At Warragul, former 400m track record holder Paua Of Oscar (16 from 32 – 22.07sec PB) and Luca’s Jebrynah (7 from 15) are standout chasers, while Group Listed winner Lucky Lance and G3 finalist Gotham Duke (3 from 6 Box 7) are set to provide a stirring duel.
Indian Calling, Boes Reward and Oakvale Cruiser are all tipped to record wins at today’s Healesville Tier 3 meeting.
