The Watchdog says ? : Awesome line-up and the two big guns in the series were dominant heat winners last week. BLACKPOOL FLASH (1) came into the heats as the best credentialed star, and he gave nothing else a chance when carving out an electrifying 6.43sec to the first marker before going on to score in a sizzling 19.16sec. He comes up with the right draw today, so he is expected to pounce on the early lead, and he could give the 19 seconds barrier a shake. PADDY’S MARVEL (4) carved out similar sectionals before blowing his rivals away last week and, with a clean getaway, he can make the top elect work hard throughout. ‘Paddy’ has won a staggering 14 of 21 and he has the potential to snag a few country cups in the coming months. HANDSOME JACK (6) has elevated his game in recent months and although poorly drawn today, he must be respected. ‘Jack’ showed great pace in his first look at the track last week and he will have derived a lot of benefit from that run. With chasers the calibre of NIHARI BALE (5), ZACHARY (7) and RACK CITY (8) lining up at double figures odds, it indicates just how strong this final is.
