The Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association (MGRA) are delighted to announce the fields for the Group 1 TAB Topgun & Topgun Stayers events set to be held at The Meadows on Saturday night 7 November.

The Topgun Selection Panel (Eddie Caruana (Non-Voting Chair), Ashley Baker, James Van De Maat, Jason Lincoln, Luke Gatehouse, Peter O’Neill & Ron Hawkswell) met on Sunday via Zoom to discuss this year’s Topgun aspirants and after considerable discussion have settled on the following fields for the prestigious Group 1 events.

MGRA Chairman Eddie Caruana extended his congratulations to all connections who have secured a position.

“There are some very talented greyhounds who have missed out on being selected this year, so everyone who has made the final fields should be very proud.

I would also like to extend my thanks to TAB for their sponsorship of the Topgun for yet another year. TAB are a very important racing industry partner and we very much appreciate their continued support.

After what has been a very challenging year for our Club, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the track soon. Thank you to all of our loyal Members and patrons for their patience during this time – we hope it won’t be too much longer.”

The winner of the TAB Topgun and TAB Topgun Stayers will take home $150,000 and $75,000 respectively and secure themselves a place on the honour roll amongst an outstanding calibre of greyhounds. Catch all the action live on Sky Racing or via The Watchdog app on Saturday 7 November.
