Bendigo GRA’s 2019 Ready 2 Race Sales will kick off on Monday with a total of 29 heats to be held three minutes apart from 11am.
The R2R Sales provide a platform for people to purchase young greyhounds on the cusp, or at the beginning of their racing careers.
Up to four greyhounds will compete in each of Monday’s heats – to be conducted over 425m – with replays available at ready2race.grv.org.au on Monday afternoon.
R2R Finals will take place at Bendigo, again over 425m on Saturday 16 November, this time in fields of six, with pups to go to auction at the Bendigo GRA that afternoon.
Champion stud dogs Brett Lee, Barcia Bale and Fernando Bale are among the sires with pups involved in the series.
There are also a number of pups out of well-credentialled females including Angie Rocks (won $126K), Magic Diva (winner Group 2 Warrnambool Classic) and Polijuice Potion (won $177K) to name just a few.
