To assist participants understand and meet their Code of Practice obligations before the Code commences on 1 January 2020, Clubs will be holding Code of Practice Information Sessions from the end of July through until mid-October.

Code of Practice staff from GRV will be present during the information sessions as well as answer questions. The sessions are expected to run for approximately 1 – 1.5 hours.

Participants who would like assistance completing their Establishment Health and Management Plan (EHMP) are encouraged to attend the workshop component following the information session.

The EHMP requires up to 28 protocols. GRV, with the assistance of a participant reference group, have created some sample protocols that participants can use or customise to complete their own EHMP.

Club and GRV staff in attendance at the workshops will guide participants through the sample protocols one at a time and will be able to answer specific questions or clarify requirements. These workshops are also likely to run for approximately 1.5 hours.

Light refreshments will be served between Information Sessions and Workshops.

Bookings are essential for both the information sessions and workshops, however participants who wish to attend a workshop must also attend the information session held at the same Club. Contact your preferred Club to book.

To get the most out of the information sessions and workshops, participants are strongly encouraged to read both the Code of Practice and GRV’s sample protocols before attending.
