Older V Younger

Excitement is building around Sunday’s coursing meeting at Lang Lang with the potential for two coursing talents in Bees On Fire and Barracuda Fozz to go head-to-head.

The potential clash would be if both greyhounds win their first  of three courses in the Western Saws Cup.

Bees On Fire and Barracuda Fozz are both leading contenders for the Waterloo Cup on 24 and 25 August at Longwood and are likely staters in next weekend’s Werribee Cup, also held at Longwood.

With the coursing world drooling at the opportunity for this head-to-head match on Sunday, they do have to overcome their first match races.

Bees On Fire, trained by Mark Johnson finds himself up against Yelredda Saint and Barracuda Fozz, trained by Brian Fothergill faces Standing Bear.

If both greyhounds win their courses, it will be one match you wish you could see!

Longwood hold a full 12 event card with more than $13,000 in prize money on offer.
