The Watchdog has been quite ‘frank’, if you’ll excuse the pun, in his assessment of the Group 1 Maturity Classic final over 525 metres at The Meadows tonight.
His prognostication sees Feral Franky taking top billing, with the NSW raider poised to pillage more Victorian spoils – $100,000 to be exact – in the prestigious event.
Feral Franky has a ‘picket fence’ form line, having won his past nine starts. And he’s drawn to perfection in box one considering his five starts from this alley have netted four wins and a second placing.
His stakes will spiral over the $400,000 mark if he takes out the Maturity Classic which, incidentally, will be his seventh Group race final appearance.
