RSN Grey Areas | Hot fire questions for George Farrugia

Forget the public holiday, there is no rest for the Grey Areas team.

Jase and George may sound a little rusty, but they are dedicated and have picked themselves up to recap the racing from Sandown Park last night for the Launching Pad meeting.

Attention heads to the weekends racing and George has found some interesting market moves in the Maiden Heats this afternoon at Geelong.

Jeff Britton and Barry Smith put forward three Hooked On Scotch x Mepunga Isla pups. Mepunga Lara (race 1 box 6), Mepunga Lilly (race 2 box 6) and Mepunga Flyer (race 4 box 3), who has seen the most movement in the market.

George also wanted to highlight a greyhound trained by Daryl Holmes called Seger (race 2 box 8). He is out of a sire called Big Ginger Boy who was born in 1993. Daryl trained Big Ginger Boy during his racing career.

He was also interested by Zelda Covilha (race 3 box 1) who is a part of Dailly’s breeding regime with an international sire by the name of Ballymac Anton.

George’s set at The Meadows tomorrow:

Race 9, Hi There Frank (1)
“Drawn well for the first time in a while and does find his race.”

Race 10, Mepunga Ollie (1)
“Got these greyhounds covered.”

George also wanted to highlight a Jason Thompson runner in Coincidence (race 2 number 3) who flew in a satisfactory trial at Ballarat.

George’s Obscure Outlay:

North Melbourne at the line, plus 17.5 into Sydney to beat Port Adelaide. Shopping around the $2.90 mark.
