Multi play for Rooney at Warragul

While yesterday’s Shepparton meeting wasn’t a vintage night at the office for gun tipster Nathan Rooney, his staple best bet saluted and he found another notable winner throughout the card at $10.

His attention now turns to Warragul tonight, where many short priced favourites look hard to beat.

Hear Nathan’s preview before every race on RSN927 – the first at Warragul kicks off at 6.45pm.

Best play – Multi

Race 6, BURN ALONG (2)

He was a finalist in both Warragul and Traralgon Cups recently and is ideally drawn close to the rail tonight. He looks well placed to lead all of the way.

Race 7, DUNDEE SMOKEY (7)

He’s won three of his four starts at the track and distance, with his most recent win in the very fast time of 22.27 seconds. From the wide draw he looks ideally placed to win.

Around $2.20 for the duo.

Best Value – Race 12, HANDSOME IS (8)

He’s second up from a spell and had little luck on resumption a fortnight ago. He’s a track and distance winner from a wide draw in the past and also broke 26 seconds at Warragul over 460m last preparation. He represents good each way value at a double figure quote.
