The Watchdog is tipping True Collinda will show her ‘true’ colours in the GRV Vic Bred Series final (1-4 Wins) over 460m at Warragul.
Blessed with sizzling early speed, she’s won four races from only seven starts – including her past three. And she’s two from two (100%) exiting the ‘black’ alley.
“She carved out a slick 6.54sec to the first marker in her heat and is probably capable of going a length faster and is expected to hit the line a little better,” The Watchdog said.
However, the expert form analyst is also keen on the impressive Aston Jupiter whose bloodlines are ‘out of this world’.
He’s won three races from only six starts and is a son of former champion stayer Sweet It Is who won four G1s, including Sandown Cups, and was renowned for her last-to-first Bold Trease-style of racing.
“With the early speed drawn directly on his inside, he should get a nice cart across early and will have every chance to make a big impact,” he said.
The Watchdog also likes the chances of ‘red-hot’ Smokin’ Grille , who is four from five (80%) and won a heat in a slick 25.80sec, and Sierra Foxtrot who earned a ‘bravo’ as the fastest qualifier in a flying 25.70sec. He’s won four from eight and is unbeaten in two starts over this track/distance with a sizzling 25.65sec PB.
Meanwhile, The Watchdog was ‘back in the black’ – and punters’ good books – with a massive 150% profit yesterday.
