Executive Officer of the Victorian Clubs Association Brian Parkinson is urging participants who have questions or concerns about the State Government’s new Planning Permit Guidelines, to attend the workshops which are being held around the state.
Geelong, Traralgon, Cranbourne and Bendigo greyhound racing clubs are hosting Permit Support Sessions to assist participants in understanding the new requirements.
“It is important to create awareness around the Planning Permit Guidelines. Participants need to have a clear understanding of what is involved and to ensure they are compliant,” Parkinson said.
“The new guidelines may sound intimidating, but they keep the local councils accountable.”
Club Permit Session schedule is as follows;
Geelong Monday, 8 January at 5pm – COMPLETE
Traralgon Wednesday, 10 January at 5pm – COMPLETE
Cranbourne Tuesday, 16 January at 5pm
Bendigo Thursday, 18 January at 5pm
The sessions will consist of a one-hour presentation from independent planning experts, one-hour question and answer panel session with planning experts and participants and one-hour of informal discussions.
