The numbers have been crunched from GRV’s 2016 Ready 2 Race greyhound sales at Bendigo on Saturday, with a total of $355,600 spent across the day and night auctions.
The Day auction ran from 12:00-3:30pm, while the Night auction – which was restricted to the 50 fastest greyhounds from the heats before being whittled down to 45 – ran from 6:30-8:30pm.
Around 300 people attended the Night auction which created a bidding frenzy, with only one greyhound being passed in.
