Although Rippin Hayne (pictured) recorded a best of the night time in a semi final of the Maturity Classic last Saturday night at The Meadows, he is currently sitting second favourite ($4.00) to Ultimate Magic in the Group One feature.
“With a clean run he is a good strong dog, he is the next litter to No Donuts so we always thought he would ride it out well,” handler Peter Riley explained.
The son of Magic Sprite and Chevy Princess recorded his fifth win from eight starts at The Meadows last weekend to gain him a start in his first group race along side litter sister and kennel mate Rippin Rose (box 7).
“He has a very good record, he is a good honest chaser and you would love a kennel full of him.”
