Saturdays metropolitan meeting at The Meadows is set to kick off at 7.13pm
The third race of the night is the final of the GRV to the City sprint edition, with the stayers version a shade later on in the night. Catch Fire has done everything right thus far in her career and after a brilliant best of the day 27.10 in her heat, she does look the one to beat (Replay). After two runs down the track in two different states, Dyna Double One returns to Melbourne lining up in the eighth race from box six. Hopefully we will see the Melbourne Cup champion of 2015 bounce back to his brilliant best. The star will require some luck in running as there are plenty of handy types in the FFA waiting for Dyna Double One to make a mistake.
Jaycee would have to go down in the book as one of the most unluckly runs last week in the heat at Horsham for the GRV to the City distance final. Every time he went to accelerate he found more trouble, yet he still managed to wind up a fast finishing third (Replay). With the aid of the inside box on Saturday night, he will no doubt be the best bet of the night as he looks to pocket the $11,500 first prize.
