Usain I’m Nutty, trained by Andrea Dailly, came from behind to win in 29.417sec, his eighth win from 24 career starts.
In his Sandown Park preview for grv.org.au, Van de Maat also correctly tipped Usain I’m Nutty’s kennelmate Spring Leaf ($2.00) to win Race 9, making it a profitable night for followers of his selections.
Meanwhile, Shepparton Cup winner Azza Azza Azza added a second group race to his CV at Sandown on the night when taking out the $35,000 Group Listed Easter Gift (515m) in 29.658sec for trainer Wayne Vassallo.
